HAV Group is part of the program for Ship Technology Days, organized by Ulstein Næringsforum and GCE Blue Maritime Cluster.
The conference focuses on digitization in the maritime industry, where stakeholders from the maritime sector can share knowledge, explore future trends, and discuss solutions.
The event takes place in Ulsteinvik on February 27th to 29th, 2024.
Gunnar Larsen, HAV Group’s CEO, along with Siv Randi Hjørungnes, R&D Manager, and Ole Georg Rørhus, VP Technology, will represent HAV Group at the event. Under the title "A sea of digital opportunities," they will provide insights into our digital strategies and our pioneering role in implementing new technology for the ongoing electrification and upcoming automation of the ferry fleet.
Next-generation ferries
We will emphasize our collaboration with Fjord1, where we are exploring automation and autonomous operations on the Lavik - Oppedal ferry route. This partnership is aimed at shaping the future of ferry transportation, and we are eager to share our insights and perspectives in this domain.
Panel Discussion
In addition to our presentation, a panel discussion led by Siv Remøy-Vangen, Managing Director at NES, will provide a platform for engaging discussions on key themes related to the introduction of innovative maritime technology and digitalization.
