Maritime industry supplier Norwegian Electric Systems has appointed Siv Remøy-Vangen as its new managing director.

Siv Remøy-Vangen joins NES from a position as CEO of Maritime Bergen, a regional industry association for companies in ocean-based industries.
Remøy-Vangen is a highly experienced maritime professional. She has several years’ experience as vice president of project management for TTS Offshore Solutions, and as charterer and shipbroker at Odfjell Tankers and RS Platou. She is chairperson of Ocean Hyway Cluster, Norway's leading network for maritime hydrogen.

She has a solid understanding of new technology and the role it can play in enabling the maritime industry to operate more cost-efficiently and with smaller environmental footprint. Remøy-Vangen will start in her new role on 1 January 2023.
